Note: March 5, 1945. Combat Mess Hall was specifically for crews flying that day. Command regulated what they could eat to prevent digestive issues at altitude. Not sure where this was at Shipdham on base. Notice coal stove. Ceilings painted.

Note: Passed through Prestwick on way to ETO. Pretty fancy facility – imagine it was a space the AAF took over for duration of war.
