Fort De Royan - April 14th 1945 and the first use of Napalm by the 8th Air Force, with the 44BG playing their part. Does anyone have a better or clearer copy of this image? I ask because after a discussion on ArmyAirForces.com there was a consensus that the ship ringed (by me) in this picture is probably Bar-O, 'Joplin Jalopy' flown on this mission by 1st Lieut.
