Notes: Chairs in front of huts/temporary bricks for lounging in better weather. Chimneys for coal stoves in the buildings.

Notes: One man sewing button on uniform. Other trying to wash something in a bucket. Not lots of extra space. Kept shoes on. Not homey. Concrete floors very cold. Just tin can separating you from outside.

Living sites weren’t super welcoming. Lots of dirt. Looks like Nissen Huts just placed on farmland, which was true. Looks very dreary.
